Alpha Universal offers a manual roller blind system, this system utilises a gearbox and crank handle. The blinds can be closed and opened easily with a winding/Cranking motion. The gearbox is imported from Italy and has a heavy-duty gear ratio of 9:1, this allows for the blind to stay taught for longer periods when left down in a secured position.

The manual roller blind system is the most affordable blind system and it works just as efficiently as the motorized roller blind system.

In conjunction with Ripstop, RECacril® or Sunweave Fabrics and Achilles Vinistar Ultra Clear PVC. Having manual blinds protects artwork and furniture from UV rays.

In order to manufacture your manual blind: You will require the following components:

1 x 9:1 ratio gearbox, 2 mounting brackets, 1 x Round pin 70mm end cap, 1 x square pin 70mm end cap, top 70mm roller tube – options: 3m, 4m, 4.5m, 5.0m, 5.8m.
